Kenji Nanba was born in Ogikubo, Tokyo. When he was a second-year high school student, he debuted as a cartoonist with "Arawashi no Kessen" published by Nissyokan which was a rental comic publisher. After that, he started to study under Takawo Saito to be an orthodox narrative comic cartoonist. His important works are "Takkuru Mogyu", "Attakku Jo", "Warera 9", "Goddo", "Kikku Damashi", "Kurobai Syogun", "Kyukiga Iku", "Hyoga Minzoku", "Sanjushi" etc. The themes of his works are not only action ,which he was inherited from his mentor, but also sports, adventure, young adult, history, comedy and so on. |
